Joshua Huang is a violinist currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. He earned his bachelor’s degree through the Dual Degree Program at the University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music, with degrees in Biology and Violin Performance with Oleh Krysa. He completed his Master of Music and Advanced Music Studies degree in Violin Performance at Carnegie Mellon University under Cyrus Forough and Christopher Wu.

Joshua is a member of the Air Force Strings, The United States Air Force Band in Washington, D.C. and he is also Associate Concertmaster of the Erie Philharmonic and Principal 2nd Violin of the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra. He has performed with numerous groups such as the Charleston, Columbus, Canton, and New World Symphonies. He is also a core violinist for Candlelight Concerts by Fever quartet concert series in Pittsburgh, PA. He has performed at a variety of music festivals including the National Repertory Orchestra, where he was also featured as a vocal soloist, Schleswig–Holstein Musik Festival, and Tanglewood Music Center.  He has worked with renowned musicians such as the Cavani, Juilliard, Pacifica, and Ying Quartets. Besides music, Mr. Huang also enjoys an IT career as a Technology Specialist Sr. at PNC. In his spare time, he loves to cook, jog, and spend time with his goldendoodle, Millie.
