As we celebrate the 14th annual Buzzards Bay Musicfest, an event which has grown each year in regional response and national reputation, it is a delight for me to see so many friends and supporters returning each season. Equally rewarding are the young faces of those who are so enthusiastically attending our Open Rehearsal.
Our most generous Founding Board Members have continued to support us, and we welcome all the newer contributors at every level. You all make our performances possible.
On behalf of all the artists, I wish to thank the wonderful host families whose warm welcome into their homes helps create the atmosphere so conducive to joyful music making and camaraderie. We have all been made to feel at home in Marion through the efforts of our host venue, Tabor Academy and the Marion Art Center.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I welcome you to the fourteenth annual Buzzards Bay Musicfest. The musicians, their host families, our volunteers in the acoustically stunning Fireman Performing Arts Center at Hoyt Hall,Tabor Academy assure the success of this wonderful event here in Marion.
This is my second year as Chairman. Our Board is strong, experienced, and represents music lovers from Cape Cod to Kansas City. Through difficult economic times, we remain committed to our nationally and internationally recognized musicians and, of course, to our Artistic Director, Russell Patterson.
Finally, we thank our generous sponsors and volunteers who make these free concerts possible. Without their hard work and dedication, our Musicfest would not be the fourteen-year success that it is today.
